CMC Markets Announces Appointment of Albert Soleiman as its CFO

On Monday, the online trading platform CMC Markets Plc announced that Albert Soleiman had been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), which takes effect from September 1st.

The company stated in a statement that Albert Soleiman will replace Euan Marshall, who retired from the board of directors, but the latter would continue to stay in the group in the coming months to support the transition of the role.

Soleiman, who had first joined CMC Markets in 2005, served in the group until 2019. A year later, he rejoined the company to lead its CMC Invest business. 

James Richards, chairman of CMC Markets, commented on the appointment: "Albert has a deep knowledge of the Group which will support the execution of our diversification strategy. We have worked closely with Albert as he has developed the CMC Invest business and I look forward to working with him as a Board member."
