The demo account completely mimics a regular one, with the only difference of using virtual coins for your trades. So you won’t spend a cent when training with the demo. And when you feel ready, you can deposit real cash.

Intuitive UX/UII find the UX/UI of MT4, MT5, and IX Social pretty solid. There’s a lot of info packed into these platforms, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. It takes a bit of time to get used to everything, but the layout makes sense, and once you learn where things are, it’s easy to navigate. The client area is useful, and the trading interface has helpful hints along the way. That said, I personally find the desktop versions of trading platforms more user-friendly and efficient. I do trade on my phone sometimes, but it’s not as convenient as using a full-sized screen.

I wouldn’t have started trading without a demo account. In my first two weeks, I lost more than I earned, and if it had been real money, I probably would’ve quit. But since it was just virtual funds, I kept going, tested different strategies and eventually figured out what works. When I finally switched to real AUD, I felt much more confident.
