Spanish Financial Regulator CNMV Flags Acy Securities as an Unregistered Entity

On February 5, Spain's National Securities Market Commission, the CNMV, issued a warning list of unregistered institutions, which includes multi-asset broker Acy Securities, which holds a financial services license in Australia.

According to the warning list, the Spanish financial regulator noted that Acy Securities and the website it operates, acy.com, are not registered with the commission and are not authorized by the Commission to provide investment services or other activities.

Acy Securities is a multi-asset trading broker regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) that provides investors with trading products and services such as Forex, CFDs, and cryptocurrencies. In August 2020, the company had also been licensed by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC), but that license has been revoked. Additionally, Acy Securities completes its registration with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority (SVG FSA) under the company name ACY Capital Australia LLC. However, SVG FSA is not a forex regulator.

However, as an Australian-regulated dealer, Acy Securities is not licensed for financial services in Europe. What’s more, this is not the first regulatory warning against the broker in Europe. On July 13, 2023, the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) blacklisted Acy Securities' website as an unauthorized forex website.
