eToro Expands Offering with Addition of Sandbox

eToro, an Israeli social trading and multi-asset brokerage company, announced that it has expanded its crypto offering with the addition of Sandbox (SAND).

Sandbox is a virtual Metaverse built on the Ethereum blockchain, where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experience. eToro users can now buy, hold and sell Sandbox, according to the official press release.

"We're seeing huge demand for DeFi and metaverse tokens, and we’re delighted to be able to offer more of these assets to our customers. The addition of these new tokens to the eToro platform demonstrates the breadth of choice available to investors in the crypto market today, with some 42 tokens now available on our platform," said Doron Rosenblum, the VP of Business Solutions at eToro.

eToro has been regularly expanding its crypto offering since the start of 2021. The launch of Sandbox comes after eToro added CELO to its crypto offering, bringing the total number of cryptoassets available on the platform to 42. This shows the brokerage's commitment to offer all its users a broad variety of cryptoassets.
