Matteo Paganini joins ActivTrades as Group CCO

The Forex and CFD broker ActivTrades announced that it has officially appointed Matteo Paganini as its Group Chief Commercial Officer. Paganini is an industry veteran with two decades of professional experience in currencies, market making, and risk management, and joins ActivTrades from a series of high-profile roles in the CFD sector.

In his new role, Paganini will be responsible for leading ActivTrades' global strategy and driving the group's expansion, with a focus on revenue growth, sales and marketing strategy, and the exploration of new market opportunities. He will also be responsible for the optimization of corporate processes and operations, with the aim of providing traders with cutting-edge and superior services.

Paganini's career highlights include leadership roles at Admirals for Europe and Pepperstone for Italy and Spain. Besides, he played a foundational role in establishing Italy's first FX broker, Salex S.p.A, as well as managing FXCM’s Italian branch and its market analysis team.

"His experience, knowledge and talent make him an excellent asset for the whole Group and his contribution will help ActivTrades to further develop and grow while always providing a superior service to its clients," Alex Pusco, the CEO of ActivTrades, commented.

ActivTrade last reported significant changes in C-level late last year, when it promoted Vikesh Kumar Purohit to Head of UK and DACH Markets. Purohit's promotion comes after more than three years at the brokerage. He joined ActivTrades in October 2019 as a senior account manager. In addition, between October 2014 and August 2017, he held a sales-related role at the broker for about three years.
