Pepperstone's Cyprus Head Victor Zachariades Steps down

Victor Zachariades has resigned from the role of Head of Cyprus at Pepperstone, the leading online Forex and CFD Broker providing traders across the globe with cutting-edge technology to trade the world's markets.

After spending over two years at the firm, Zachariades's tenure in the company came to an end, according to his Linkedin profile. He took over the new role as the General Manager at Alpaca earlier this month.

Alpaca is an API-first stock and crypto platform that enables developers and businesses across the world to build trading algorithms, applications, and brokerage services.

Zachariades brings more than 15 years of experience working in the financial services and banking industry to the crypto company. He joined Pepperstone in 2019, and head the Cyprus CySEC license application process and office establishment for the Australia based global broker.

Before joining Pepperstone, Zachariades was an Executive Director at Forex Club for three years. Prior to that, he spent more than a couple of years at Vinson Financials, a Cypriot financial service firm. Additionally, he spent three years as a Senior Dealer with FxPro, another big name in the forex industry.

Pepperstone has announced several important executive moves recently. Earlier this month, Panayiotis Theodorou, an executive with more than a decades of experience from the Fintech industry, has been promoted by Pepperstone, the UK subsidiary of the namesake global brokerage group, to the pivotal position of Managing Director.
