OvalX's Former Head of Sales Michael Baker Joins Capital.com

Financial industry expert and veteran sales executive Michael Baker has been hired by forex and CFD services broker Capital.com as the broker's Head of UK Premium Clients, according to the resource.

Michael Baker, who has decades of experience in the industry, previously joined the spread trading and CFD services provider OvalX as a Sales Trader in November 2016, and in December 2020 he was promoted to Head of Relationship Management, followed by Head of Online and Institutional Services in June of the following year. However, OvalX announced earlier this year that it was ceasing operations.

Michael Baker has also worked at Pip Capital Markets and Panima Capital Management, among others.

OvalX officially closed in February after Capital.com acquired its client assets. The company's employees have moved on to other companies.
