Markets.com Appoints Dany Mawas as New CEO for South Africa Operations

Markets.com, the currency pairs and CFDs broker of Finalto, has appointed Dany Mawas as its new CEO for South Africa.

Mawas began his career in the financial industry in 2009 and has over 15 years of experience in investor relations, sales, and management in the brokerage and asset management sectors.

Since joining Markets.com, his goal is to leverage Markets.com's offerings to expand its regional presence, providing tailored partnership solutions and trading conditions by working with local partners and talent.

Mawas was previously Chief Commercial Officer at global multi-asset CFD broker RaiseFX, where he contributed to the company's business expansion in the MENA region, South East Asia, and Africa. During his tenure, the company opened five offices around the world in just three months.

In addition, he was UK and Africa Managing Director of FXCM, a leading currency pairs broker.
