Kypros Zoumidou to be Capital.com's Next CEO

Kypros Zoumidou, the current chief commercial officer of forex and CFDs broker Capital.com, will succeed Peter Hetherington as the company's new chief executive officer.

Kypros, who joined Capital.com in January 2022 as a UK managing director, will lead the company's expansion into emerging markets in his new role, as well as driving the development of innovative products and a robust technology infrastructure.

Before joining Capital.com, Kypros worked for 12 years at IG Group, an online trading firm. At the CFD and FX services company, he held roles such as head of Commercial Director, International, CEO of BrightPool, and head of compliance for the UK and Europe.

Outgoing CEO Peter Hetherington will stay on as an advisor until 2026 to ensure a smooth transition, while providing strategic guidance to Capital.com.
