ETX Capital Appoints Andrea Di Blasio as Head of Quant Trading

ETX Capital, a leading spread-betting and CFD provider based in London, has announced the appointment of Andrea Di Blasio as its new Head of Quant Trading. As seen on his Linkedin profile, Di Blasio has been working on the role since April, although it was made official recently.

Di Blasio brings with a PhD in mathematics, and 3 years of quant trading experience. Prior to joining ETX Capital, he spent a short time in FlowBank as a Senior Quant Trading Analyst. Before this role, Swissquote utilised his services as eFX Quantitative Analyst from May 2019 to December 2020. 

Over the course of his career, Di Blasio was a Doctoral Assistant, Chair of Computational Mathematics and Numerical Analysis at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). His career began at FlowKit Ltd., where he served as Reasearch and development intern.

 "I analyze data, test and develop new ideas to monitor and improve the overall processes related to the trading ecosystem: pricing, inventory management, liquidity sourcing, hedging strategies, etc.," stated Di Blasio.
