Binance and Mastercard Announce Prepaid Card Launch in Brazil

On Monday, Binance and Mastercard Inc announced a prepaid card launch in Brazil, the second-largest economy in Latin America. This is the effort of the crypto giant to “broaden the connection between traditional finance and crypto”.

According to the statement, the so-called Binance Card is going through the Beta test and is expected to be widely used in the next few weeks. This launch will make Brazil become the second country in Latin America, after Argentina.

Binance said that Brazil is one of the ten-largest markets for it, and the prepaid card can make all new and existing clients in the country shop and pay bills with Cryptocurrencies via MasterCard.
