  • 2022-07-25 The Spain CNMV Added NovoBrokers into Its Warnings

    NovoBrokers claims to be a reliable broker without presenting any information about its regulation. The lack of such important information may be a distinct signal of an unlicensed broker, as regulated brokers always present their accreditations and licenses in a prominent position. It is a red flag.

    NovoBrokers claims to be a UK-based company and offers five phone numbers that belong to Australia, Canada, Poland, Spain, and Belgium respectively. 

    First, please be informed that the Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has banned foreign exchange activities and foreign exchange dealers since August 2016. So we searched the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority (UK FCA), the Australian Securities & Investments Commission(ASIC), the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA), and the Spain Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). And the result is that we did not find any results that matched this broker in UK FCA, ASIC, IIROC, and PFSA. 

    However, we found a warning issued by CNMV. The regulator warned the public that NovoBrokers is not authorized to provide investment services in Spain. 

    The truth is that NovoBrokers is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.
