  • 2022-08-02 BrokersView has Reviewed that Dcoin FX is an Unregulated Forex Broker

    Dcoin FX claims to be a UK-based firm that is under multiple regulations and registration, including:

     1) the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA);

     2) the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA);

     3) the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC);

     4) the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC);

     5) Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority (SVG FSA).

    We firstly searched the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority (UK FCA) and found a firm named Deriv Investments (Europe) Limited. But the firm status in UK FCA was "Supervised run-off". That means this broker is not authorized to provide financial services in the UK.

    Then we searched Labuan FSA and found a firm named Deriv (FX) Ltd. However, the approved domain in Labuan FSA was "binary.com" instead of "dcoinfx.com". It means Dcoin FX can not prove its regulation under the Labuan FSA.

    We could also find the matching results in BVI FSC, VFSC, and SVG FSA. But none of the agencies have a website or address that can prove the regulatory or registration information that belongs to Dcoin FX. Besides, SVG FSA does not regulate forex activities or issue forex licenses. Having registration does not mean being authorized to provide financial services.

    At last, we found a warning issued by MFSA. The Malta regulator believed that Dcoin FX is a clone firm. This company is using the details of an MFSA licensed company.

    The truth is that Dcoin FX is a clone firm and not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.

  • 2022-11-24 BrokersView has found that Dcoin FX is not working

    BrokersView found the domain "https://dcoinfx.com/" is not working, as most probably it was suspended and it is always a bad sign when broker's website is suspended.
