  • 2022-04-26 BrokersView has reviewed that AltimaTrade is an Unregulated Forex Broker

    AltimaTrade claims it is owned and operated by the group of companies, including:

    1) Shenanigans Consulting LTD registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with registration number: 26499 BC/21.

    2) Shenanigans Business Consulting LTD registered in the Companies House of United Kingdom (CH) with registration number: 13631130.

    First, we did searching in St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority (SVG FSA) and found a match result to Shenanigans Consulting LTD. But please be informed, SVG FSA does not regulate forex activities. Having registration does not mean having regulation. 

    Second, we searched Shenanigans Business Consulting LTD in CH and also found a match result. But CH is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies which has no legit rights to regulate any forex activities. As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK financial regulator - FCA. However, we did not find any match results to Shenanigans Business Consulting LTD in FCA.

    What's more, the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) issued a warning that this firm has not been authorized to provide forex investments and services. So AltimaTrade is not regulated by any regulators. That means investors' money in this broker is unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

    On 14 Oct 2022, Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier of Luxembourg (CSSF) issued a warning that AltimaTrade was not supervised by the CSSF and not been granted any authorisation to provide investment services or other financial services in or from Luxembourg.
