OSC Flags 11 Unregistered Entities in Investor Warnings and Alerts
The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), Canada, has updated the list of investor warnings and alerts for April 15 – May 6, 2025, warning Ontario investors that the following 11 entities and their websites are not registered in Ontario to engage in the business of trading in securities.

BrokersView urges extreme caution regarding BitProGain, which has been flagged by both the Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand (NZ FMA) and the Alberta Securities Commission for operating without proper licensing and engaging in suspected fraudulent activities. Additionally, a New Zealand investor has reported the platform’s remote access tactics and several unauthorized payments from his bank account.
The OSC’s warning updates aim to warn about possible harmful or illegal activity in progress and maintain a warning list of companies or individuals performing activities that may pose a risk to investors.
Investors are urged to always check the registration of any person or business trying to sell an investment or give investment advice.
