Interactive Brokers Reports 22% YoY Jump in DARTs in November 2021

Interactive Brokers, one of the biggest US-based brokerage firm, recently posted its trading volumes for the month of November, indicating a jump in DARTs on a YoY basis.

More specifically, the broker registered a DARTs of 2.793 million, 21% higher than the previous month and 22% higher than the previous year. In November, Interactive Brokers’s ending client equity reached $373.6 billion, showing a slight decrease compared to $380.9 billion during the same period last month. Moreover, the broker’s ending client margin loan balances hit $54.4 billion, compared to $53.7 billion in October. 

In terms of client accounts, the US brokerage reported that the total number of traders on the platform was 1.64 million, up 58% than the same period last year and increased by 3% from September 2021. Average commission per cleared Commissionable Order of $2.27 including exchange, clearing and regulatory fees.

Recently, Interactive Brokers has introduced GlobalAnalyst, a new tool that lets investors compare the relative valuations and financial metrics of stocks globally. GlobalAnalyst is designed for investors interested in international portfolio diversification to discover undervalued companies that may have greater growth potential.
