IC Markets Records Total Trading Volume of $1.04 Trillion in March 2021

IC Markets, an Australian-based online retail forex and CFD broker, has published its trading volume of $1.04 trillion for the month of March, hitting a record for the broker.

The first quarter of the year, IC Markets recoreded a trading volume of  $2.84 trillion. That was an increase of 19 percent compared to the same quarter the previous year. 

According to IC Markets, an influx of clients and its product diversification led to the spike in the trading volumes. The company detailed that it expanded its offerings with cryptocurrencies and share CFDs, which might have brought in more traders.

"Our focus has been on providing our customers with the best possible trading experience. By offering more choice, our clients can now diversify their portfolio into new asset classes," said Andrew Budzinski, IC Markets CEO.
