2021 is drawing to a close. Fazzaco has witnessed what the Forex brokers have gone through this year. Today, let's review eToro's milestones for 2021.

In early 2021, eToro reached a huge milestone: celebrating its record number of users on the platform – an astonishing 20 million.

As eToro grew immensely in its capacity as a platform, it also massively expanded the number of assets it offers:

• Cryptoassets: 27

• Stocks: 726

• IPOs: 32

• ETFs: 113

That is a total of 898 asset additions.

In April, eToro announced the change of the current app known as "eToro Wallet" to "eToro Money". In December, the broker announced the launch of eToro Money in the UK.

A few weeks ago, eToro reduced the minimum trade size for stocks, crypto and ETFs to $10. The company states that the change aims to make its investment platform more accessible and user-friendly. In September, eToro announced to cut minimum first-time deposit to $50 in 30 regions.

Additionally, eToro has inked several sponsorship deals with several famous football clubs including Football Club Aston Villa, Football Club Newcastle United, Southampton FC and Arsenal Football Club.

eToro has also announced several key appointments in 2021. In early September, the broker appointed Lule Demmissie, the former Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, as its US CEO. In late September, the company announced the appointment of Michael Ptasznik as the new member of the company's Board of Directors.
