CMC Markets, eToro and Others Line up to Offer Coinbase Trading

Another four trading platforms, including CMC Markets, eToro, Admiral Markets (or Admirals) and Binance, have also announced the offering of access to Coinbase trading and investing following its landmark stock market debut on the Nasdaq on April 14th. Yesterday, IG Group and Rakuten Securities' decision to provide Coinbase shares trading.

Coinbase is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. It acts as a broker for both retail and institutional traders for crypto assets such as bitcoin, ripple and altcoins. Early this month, the company confirmed its plan to float its shares via a direct listing on the NASDAQ stock exchange.

On April 13, Tuesday, Nasdaq set a reference price of $250 per share for Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN), projecting a value for the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange at $49.19 billion ahead of its listing.

Exposure to Coinbase's new listing is offered through CMC's live trading account that provides access to over 9,000 shares and ETFs. CMC also pointed out that the crypto company could fall victim to over-valuation due to the high demand for the stock among retail investors.

eToro clients can go to the company's Coinbase stock page by either typing in Coinbase or its ticker symbol COIN in the search box at the top of the page. The multi-asset investing and trading platform provides trades of long, non-leveraged positions with no commission.

Admiral Markets has added the Coinbase shares to its Invest.MT5 account offering. With Invest.MT5, traders can access thousands of shares and ETFs from 15 of the world's largest stock exchanges, all from MetaTrader 5.

Binance, the crypto exchange giant which has just announced the launch of stock tokens on Monday, will also give its clients the opportunity to invest in Coinbase shares by listing the Coinbase Stock Token. A further announcement will be posted when the COIN/BUSD trading pair is open on the crypto exchange.
