Admirals Lowers Cryptocurrency Minimum Contract Size to 0,01 lot

Retail Forex and CFDs broker Admirals, formerly known as Admiral Markets, announced on Tuesday that it has changed the minimum contract size of three cryptocurrency pairs, namely BTCUSD, ETHUSD, and BCHUSD.

According to the official press release, the minimum contract size will be changed from 0,1 to 0,01 lot. That is to say, Admirals clients will be able to open positions with 10 times less volumes than before on the following instruments:

  • Bitcoin vs U.S. Dollar CFD (platform symbol BTCUSD),

  • Ether vs U.S. Dollar CFD (platform symbol ETHUSD), and

  • Bitcoin Cash vs U.S. Dollar (platform symbol BCHUSD)

Notably, the broker highlighted that the residents of the United Kingdom can trade digital currencies only under professional terms.

Admirals has rolled out branded physical debit card to its clients. The physical debit card is available to clients for €10. For clients whose total wallet balance exceeds €5,000, the physical card can be issued for free.
