Admiral Markets Group Co-CEO Victor Gherbovet to Leave the Broker after 13 Years

Victor Gherbovet, Admiral Markets Group’s Co-Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Management Board, has resigned after spending 13 years and 3 months with the broker, effective today.

The resignation comes 7 months after Mr Gherbovet was appointed as co-CEO. He joined the Group as Director of Romanian Branch in May 2008. Then he was promoted to Management Board Member in January 2017. Prior to Admiral Markets Group, Mr Gherbovet was Key Account Manager at Asito Kapital, an insurance company based in Romania. Before this role, he served as Credit Officer at EXIMBANK.

Commenting on Mr Gherbovet’s departure, Sergei Bogatenkov, CEO at Admiral Markets, said, “We are extremely grateful to him for the years he was part of the Admirals team. His contribution to the development of the company has been enormous, and together we have celebrated great victories, learned valuable lessons and approached the long-term goals we have set ourselves as a company. Although I am sorry that such a valued player is leaving our team, I understand his desire to move forward and wish him well in accepting the new challenges.”

Admiral Markets Group recently announced the opening of its subsidiary in Jordan to have an offer and a presence in all major regions of the world. The new operating company is fully regulated by the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC), and will deliver all world-class offering, customer service, products, and educational content which the Admirals brand is built upon.
