Capitalonefx states that it offers investment services including forex, share CFDs, commodities and indices under the regulation of the FCA, ASIC and FSCA. But we found no license matching results but a warning record.

I'm curious if any of these scammers actually get caught and prosecuted, or do they pretty much get away with this even if the scam is discovered

Thanks for this video. I have had the exact scam tried on me twice in the past week. Thankfully, I shut them both down pretty quickly. People will stoop to any level for a few bucks. Beware everyone.
