  • 2024-09-26 BaFin suspects Finacix to be a case of identity theft

On September 27, 2024, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warned consumers about services offered on the website finacix.com. • 2024-09-29 BrokersView has reviewed that Finacix is an unregulated broker

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has issued a warning to consumers about the website finacix.com, which is offering unauthorized financial and investment services. The site presents conflicting information about its operator, listing both Finance and Investment Solutions Ltd. and Finacix Ltd. as responsible entities. While Finance and Investment Solutions Ltd. claims to be registered with the British Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), BaFin suspects this may be a case of identity theft. Additionally, Finacix Ltd. purports to be registered with the non-existent "Securities Commission of the United Kingdom (SCUK)," further raising concerns.

In essence, Finacix is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds.

Finacix appears to be a scam.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY...I INVESTED 6500 CAD TO BEGIN WITH...I TRADED ALONG WITH A BROKER BY THE THE NAME OF MARK SCHUMER FOR 6 TO 8 MONTHS. IN THIS TIME I TOOK OUT A CREDIT OF 35,000.00 FROM THE COMPANY FINACIX . MY ACCOUNT HOLDINGS CLIMBED TO 1035000.00 AT WHICH TIME I ORDERED THEM TO TAKE 35,000.00 FROM MY TRADING ACCOUNT TO PAY OUT THE CREDIT THEY HAD GIVEN ME. AT THIS TIME THEY REFUSED AND SAID THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE PAYBACK FROM MY ACCOUNT AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO SEND THEM THE 35,000.00 SEPARETELY, THEY THEN SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT WHICH DID NOT ALLOW ME TO WORK THE ACCOUNT NOR MAKE ANY WITHDRAWALS. SO MUCH FOR HONESTY. I HAVE SINCE FOUND THAT YES THEY ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE PAYBACK FOR CREDITS FROM MY ACCOUNT BUT FAILED TO. I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED ANY CORESPONDENCE FROM THE COMPANY AND NOW I CAN FIND THE COMPANY ON THE WEB..
